Winter in Ohio is one of the best times to pack your bags, grab your sweetheart and hit the road for a romantic getaway. No matter what sparks your interest, a romantic winter getaway awaits in Ohio.
Northwest
Stay: While Maumee Bay State Park Lodge in Oregon is a great family getaway, it’s also a hidden gem for couples. Each room has a private balcony and the lodge features three large fireplaces, perfect for cozying up next to your sweetheart during the cold winter months. Visit: The Maumee Bay State Park Lodge features a 2-mile boardwalk and several hiking trails. When the snow falls, you’ll see a new side of the park by hopping on the skiing trail.
Northeast
Stay: Named “Best Wine Country Hotel” by USA Today in both 2016 and 2017, The Villas at Gervasi Vineyard in Canton are known for their prestige. Cuddle up the state-of-the-art villas with fireplaces, heated floors and Tuscan-inspired décor.
Eat: Share a candle-lit dinner at The Bistro at Gervasi Vineyard, complete with gourmet Italian dishes and specially paired Gervasi wines. It has also been named one of “America’s 100 Most Romantic Restaurants” by OpenTable.
Visit: Head to Canton’s The Spa at the Atrium for a day filled with rest and relaxation. The spa offers a couples massage package, with a class stress-relieving side by side 60 minute Signature massage, followed by a trip to the sauna and finished with a glass of champagne and chocolates.
Southwest
Stay: The views of downtown Cincinnati are perfectly framed from 21c Museum Hotel‘s city view rooms. The only hotel and museum combo in Ohio, this hotel has curated exceptional modern art to decorate its luxurious accommodations.

Southeast
Stay: Enjoy a regal getaway when you stay at Ravenwood Castle in New Plymouth, which was designed to resemble 12th and 13th century castles. Central
