Canadian luxury travel advisors explore the Emerald Isle

Tourism Ireland hosted a Canadian luxury trade familiarization trip to the island of Ireland earlier this month with nine high-profile travel trade partners.

The trip also gave businesses in Ireland a chance to showcase their luxury product offering and ensure they are included in Ireland programming for 2023.

The all-island trip was an opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of off-peak travel to Ireland and highlight the ease of access of getting there from Canada, with direct air access available year-round.

The travel professionals, who all specialize in high-end travel, visited the island of Ireland to experience the wealth of things to see and do.

Their itinerary included attractions in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, as well as Trinity College Dublin, Treaty City Brewery, Dromoland Castle Resort, Dunluce Castle, Hinch Distillery, and The Giant’s Causeway.

Partners in attendance included luxury DMCs and accommodation and experience providers,  including Carton House, The Conrad Dublin, The Dylan Hotel, The Fitzwilliam Hotel Dublin, Hayfield Manor, Ireland’s Blue Book, The K-Club, Lough Eske, Luttrelstown Castle, The Merrion Hotel, and MHL Hotels.
